The scholarships and awards listed here are in addition to the hundreds of other general awards available to University of Regina students. Ensure that you take the time to look at the University of Regina Undergraduate Awards booklet and the Faculty of Graduate Studies Calendar for other awards that you may be eligible for.

As many of the following scholarships and awards are also listed in the University of Regina Undergraduate Awards booklet, please note that the most current eligibility criteria is contained in this area and is subject to change without notice. Brief Summary
This is a brief summary of the rules and regulations pertaining to athletic scholarships and awards for student-athletes.

• All entering and continuing student-athletes must be eligible to participate in CIS competition in order to be eligible to receive an athletic award. This means that all student-athletes must be registered in 9 credit hours or equivalent in the current semester and continuing student-athletes must have completed 18 credit hours or equivalent in the previous CIS academic year. If you are eligible to play, you may be eligible to receive some type of athletic award.

• Entering (first year) student-athletes are only eligible for award monies provided they have an entering average of at least 80% when entering directly from high school or based on a minimum one year of study at another recognized post secondary institution as determined by the University of Regina Admissions Office (This does not apply to the Provincial Sport Governing Body Awards.)

• Continuing student-athletes are eligible for award monies provided that he/she is in good academic standing. All continuing student-athletes must have a minimum academic standing of 65% in the previous year's courses in order to be eligible for all athletic awards (This does not apply to the Provincial Sport Governing Body Awards.).

• The maximum amount a student-athlete can receive in a year (September to August) through athletic awards is the total amount of tuition and compulsory fees he/she has paid in that academic year. (This does not include the Provincial Sport Governing Body Awards). The values of some awards are based on the funds available and may not be equivalent to the maximum amount permitted. However, you can receive additional academic scholarships and awards that all University of Regina students are eligible for.

• Please read the terms of reference for each award carefully. Coaching staff can provide further information or you can contact the Athletics Office or Student Awards & Financial Aid Office for further clarification.
