Linda Duarte represented the Cougars at the 2010 CIS Swimming Championships in Toronto over the weekend, with the fifth-year swimmer’s top finish coming in the 200-metre butterfly.
Duarte recorded a time of 2:18.29 to win the ‘B’ final in the 200 fly and place ninth overall in the event. She also came in fourth place in the ‘B’ final in the 100-metre fly, finishing with a time of 1:02.72 to place 12th overall.
Competing in her fifth national championship in as many seasons as a Cougar, Duarte also finished in 20th place in the 50-metre butterfly (29.10 s) and in 34th place in the 100-metre freestyle (59.55 s).
