Led by the Malloy brothers, the University of Regina’s men’s wrestling team was ranked No. 3 in the CIS rankings released in late November.

Second-year grappler Connor Malloy - last season’s Canada West Male Rookie of the Year and a conference gold medalist at 76 kilograms – is ranked No. 2 in the country at 76 kg, while his younger brother Gaelan Malloy is ranked No. 2 at 68 kilograms.

With 38 points in the rankings, the Cougars trail only Simon Fraser (81 points) and Lakehead (49). Regina is five points ahead of New Brunswick and Saskatchewan, who tied for fourth place in the poll with 33 points.
