Jamal Williams scored 22 points and pulled down ten rebounds to record a double-double for the Cougars.
Jordan McFarlen (15),
Kris Heshka (12),
Marek Downarowicz (11), and
Paul Schubach (11) also scored in double figures for the Cougars, who were missing shooting guard
Jeff Lukomski due to his commitments with the football team.
The loss drops the Cougars’ non-conference record to 4-1. Regina also falls to 1-1 in the Graham Construction Shootout, a four-team tournament hosted by the University of Saskatchewan. The Cougars finish off the weekend with a game against Thompson Rivers on Saturday night.
