Western Cycle Source for Sports Athlete of the Week
Wyatt Baiton
Cross Country

Wyatt Baiton is this week's Western Cycle Source for Sports U of R Male Athlete of the Week after helping the men's cross country team to its first ever Canada West championship on Saturday. Baiton finished the ten-kilometre Fort Henry Hill course in Kingston, Ont. with a time of 31:58 and in 13th place overall. Following the meet, the first-year runner was named the Canada West and CIS Rookie of the Year and a second-team All-Canadian. Baiton will receive a Cougar hoodie from Western Cycle Source for Sports for winning the award.
Lindsay Ledingham
Women's Basketball
Lindsay Ledingham is this week's Western Cycle Source for Sports U of R Female Athlete of the Week after helping the women's basketball team to a weekend split against Simon Fraser and Trinity Western. On Friday, Ledingham had a team-high 16 points against the No. 1-ranked Clan and added five rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes on the floor. On Saturday, the second-year forward had six rebounds and four points as the Cougars scored a 66-37 win over the Spartans. Ledingham will receive a Cougar hoodie from Western Cycle Source for Sports for winning the award.
